Saidos is a grey and red technoorganic Rhino. If there was any sense in the world he would be called Rhinox in the Cybertron toyline but apparently he's Backstop. Doubly unfortunate as he carries Rhinox's Fok Kids colour scheme.
Rhino is jointed at hips, knees and shoulders. A little movement is capable in the head. His green Animatros force chip (numbered stw7 in the Cybertron toy line) activates a spring loaded gimmick on the rhino horn which shoots it out on an arm via a spring.
To TF pull the legs out to the sides a little and then yank the entire undersction. The front and back legs lock into their counterparts on either side to form the robot legs. A hand folds out from under the robot head, the rump becomes the other arm, and the side of the body folds up to reveal the head...... ..... Oh dear. I'm afraid Saidos is going to be winning any beauty contests. Or any other sort of contest come to think of it. Squat and wide, with a low head virtually in his chest and articulation at hips shoulder and just about the elbows. Left arm has a finger formed from the tail and I suppose it's a good thing there isn't a swivel joint on the arm or Saidos could show us what he thinks of us. The gimmick horn launcher now projects straight out of the side of his shoulder. This isn't a great toy but there's oddly something about him that makes you feel compassion for such a thing. Either that or I'm going soft. No not the best basic this year.
