Cybertron Wreckloose
Review
Now Wreckloose is rather interesting. He's a Lizard thing in beast mode with an opening jaw, limbs jointed at the hip and knee (and ankle on the front legs) plus a jointed tail. It's all making sense so far, and is a good toy. The problem comes with the additional pack bundled with him - it's a bit of green armour to cover the back of his neck with spikes sticking out the side and a key slot at the back. The key (Beast planet, numbered su39) causes the spikes to jump out to the sides. Both versions look ridiculous when attached to the lizard. To me it looks like an extra thrown in to update a previous toy to this year's gimmick, which makes me think is Wreckloose a lost BM or TM2 basic ?
To transform remove the armour and split the head in 2 to form his shoulders - the front legs become the arms. Separate the tail in 2 from top to bottom, rotate 90 degrees at his base, rotate each leg 90 degrees in below the knee and fold the end of the tail down to form the feet.
You've got the lizard head in 2 halves as the shoulder, and the lizard legs both hanging off the right thigh. But apart from that this is a good robot - nice head, reminiscent of Cruellock last year with a huge horn on the forehead. Swivel joint below the knee, knees, hips, waist, shoulder, elbow and wrists + neck. Annoying armour can attach to his back or into slots under each elbow.
Overall: Loose the armour and key slot attachment and you've got a great basic.
Future Repaints
Wreckloose is a Cybertron original mould and I find incredible he's not had a repaint to recoup costs. Something in maybe black or red would be nice.
