TF: fold the sides of the van down and pull the top half off - it's linked to the bottom by a powering connector. The back doors fold into the lower half, and some treads and the fore wheels bend down. This forms a repair bay similar to Ratchet's or Ironhide's. The Energon weapon can attach to this half and form a weapon. Open the doors on the top half, fold the arms out, fold the back down under the front half to form the waist and legs. Fold the head out the top of the van.
Robot mode feels very late G1 UK toy somehow. He's about the same size as other dlx toys, but less bulky on the limbs. He's got knee joints and ball joints at the hips, shoulders and elbows. Spark crystal right shoulder formed from one of the doors.
Towline only has a body mode, and that's so similar to Inferno's - it's effectively the upper body, with the legs folded behind into guns. Looks quite good. In this mode he can recombine with his base to form a very odd looking combination.... not sure what to say about this.
Overall: fun and inventive, with several G1 references ....
