There's one Minicon socket under the rear of the jet.. Use this to mount him as a weapons array on a larger character's arm or as a jetpack.
TF: Split the nose cone down the middle. There's a pivot in the middle of each wing connecting the front to the back of the wing - turn each wing around this pivot so that the nose cone halves end up on the wing tips. Fold both wings so they're over the jet, and then lower them down so they take up the space where the nose cone once was and that the nose cone now points downwards - these now form the legs and feet. Pull the thrusters away from the side of the jet and raise so they point upwards. Using the very small lever in the side of the thrusters extend the hands (!) then fold back the tail fins. Separate the rear of the jet and fold to the sides forming the shoulders and exposing the head.
The thinness of the robot mode is reminiscent of Armada Deluxe Optimus Prime's Minicon Over-Run. Ball jointed elbows and hips, hinged ankles and shoulders that can raise to the sides make this a very poseable Minicon, and his outsize feet (think Sideshow Bob) make him quite stable if he's not leant back - no heel spurs.
Very good. I can't get over the extending hands - sooooo tinsy ( about 1.5mm x 1.5 mm x 1.5 mm)
Steel Wind was sold in the Clear Skies team set with Nightscream & Thunderwing.
The A-10 Thunderbolt Minicon gets a Military Green colour scheme on this version.
