He's mainly composed of the silver plastic that makes up Prime's exhaust pipes except for the landing gear and a joint in the robot's shoulder that are the same blue plastic as the waist and pieces that connect the arms to the body of Prime's robot form (you can tell - on Crystal Over- Run these are still opaque blue as are the corresponding pieces on Crystal Prime). The rear wheels on Over-run are black.
He has one Minicon socket on top of the jet's body. Mounting in using this socket just makes it look like it's second alternative mode, which is a gun: Fold the tail back to pop the handle out then if you want to fold the wings down to flatten the sides and hold upside down. Nice gun resembling Superbase Prime's hand weapon. Prime's the first Supercon Armada toy to have a hand gun ! This gun mode can be hand held or plugged into a socket in Prime's flatbed behind the cab.
TF to robot: Fold the wings up. Stand on end. Fold the undercarriage out to each side to form the arms. Bend the nose down to become the chest and reveal the head.
What's revealed is a serviceable "cone head"esque robot marred slightly by the nose of the jet projecting out the front of the body.
In Japan Over Run was known as Surge and came with Std Convoy (Supercon Optimus Prime) as Micron Legend Toy MC-06.
In the Dreamwave Armada/Energon comic Over-run was a Minicon from another dimension last seen communicating with Cybertron. I'd like to think that when Cybertron rolled around in comic continuity Over-Run would be reborn as Safeguard, Vector Prime's Minicon as there's lots of similarities between them.
Gorgeous. I want.
