TF: Flip the head up from the middle of the opposite side to the screen. Flip up the screen, and from about half way down the camera flip a panel open down to the bottom, then fold up on the other side, and finally fold the original panel back down which is now covering the top of the opposite side to where it started - which is the robot's chest. Fold the legs out - noting that the arms hidden underneath are positioned with the elbows pointing in. Split the screen in 2 to form the flight pack.
Nice looking robot reminiscent of Minicon Astroscope both in the head and straight on axis of the alt mode now running through the shoulders. Head turns, the shoulders move up and down round the camera sight/lens axis (nice) ball jointed elbows, universal hips and bending knees.
Overall: Like lots. Best Humanoid Real Gear thus far. Could be slightly improved if it had the silver and metallic flake finish on the card pictures rather than the flat 2 shades of grey the toy has.
Zoom Out is a Movie Real Gear Wave 2 toy. He was sold in the UK and in Japan where he was numbered MD-13. The figure was also in a 2-pack with Power Up VT-6 as the Brain Scrambler Team.
Zoom Out is the only Real Gear figure not to be repainted in the 2007 Movie line - Speed Dial is repainted twice, the third version taking the place of a potential Zoom Out Repaint in the fifth wave.
