Megabolt Megatron

Oh yeah. Now this is the good stuff.

The robot mode is rather dominated by the backpack, which almost looks like a clipped on action master. The robot itself is a mixture of blues, silvers, a little red and some Decepticon purple. He's got a blue Vehicon spark which first deploys Meg's control helmet and accompanying missile launcher onto his head and then fires the missile. I'd like to say that the ankles on the robot mode are the weirdest I've ever seen - there's sort of a joint mid way down the fore leg which allows the curved leg to become straighter. Mine has some balance issue - the ball joints above the knees don't take the weight of the backpack too well.

As for the transformation to Big Floaty Head ..... well it's a bit fun. Fold the missile launcher into the storage position, there's a ring between the body and the backpack - use this to swing the legs up behind the head bring the shoulders up against the head, fold the forearms back so the hand are on the elbows and lock into the missile launcher. The kibblelicous should pads can then be folded forwards to form both halves of the BFH's head - moving the legs earlier has exposed a green strip which then goes behind the BFH's eyes. Recess the ankles back into the legs, fold the waist piece round to cover the robots head, the heel spurs out and enjoy a lovely piece of limb origami so that the knees lock into the back of the face and the feet lock together round the back. Straighten the BFH's spiderlegs and there you have it....

The most insane TF toy *ever* produced - A manically grinning head on tank tracks with spider legs, and some thruster jets on the back ! Roll the toy along and the now exposed jaw moves. Press down on the spark - now (somehow) on the top of the head ! - and the missile fires. (He's still manically grinning at me - this toy is EVIL) The helmet does hang down underneath the tank treads but that's quite cool as you can hold the BFH above some unsuspecting Maximal basic, place the helmet on their head and pretend BFH is brain washing them. I've not yet tried it controlling Maximus, but the big fellow will be coming out tomorrow so.....

Get one of these if you can it's a great toy !
